Vintage original oversized (14″ x 11″) press photo picturing Robinson landing a right to the side of Kid Gavilan in the 9th round of their welterweight championship bout in Philadelphia. Robinson won by a unanimous decision in the 15th round retaining his crown. Attached to the back of photo is the newspaper article which pictures the same shot as the photo. Good condition with wrinkling.
