JOE LOUIS 1981 POWELL BRONZE SCULPTURE

Bronze 17″ sculpture of Joe Louis, and reads on front at the bottom “THE IMMORTAL JOE LOUIS”. On back of statue at the bottom it reads: Vo with line over it, CAPPS 6 1981, J.McARTHUR 3/500, POWELL BRONZE KALISPELL POINT. These statues were made to sell in Caesars Palace in Las Vegas and the selling price was $2500.00 but because of a disagreement or dispute between Joe’s family, the selling of these statues were stopped. It is in excellent condition and weighs 19lbs.

32″ bronze Joe Louis statue. On bottom is a plaque stating his name & world’s welterweight champ – 1946. It also shows his accomplishments and his full name and birth date. Also stamped near plaque is the name of the artist – G.B.Glasson, 1982. It has very fine detailing excellent.

Beautiful 12″ lamp base of Joe Louis. Stamped on base “The Brown Bomber”. It is a great likeness of Joe Louis. Dated on back, 9/24/35. Excellent condition.

This very rare lamp base is in fine condition, picturing Joe Louis in a full fight pose, with great detail. On the back of the base it states Joe Louis, heavyweight champion and names 13 of his opponents and the outcomes of their fights. It measures approximately 13 1/2″ from lamp base to top of light socket.

Offered here is a porcelain decanter. On the back is a facsimile autograph and on the bottom is stamped “american porcelain, 1981 mccormack distilling co. It is 13′ high and in excellent condition.
